GeoAgro GIS
In order to use GeoAgro GIS properly, the following software and hardware are required:
- PC with a Intel® Pentium III 1 GHz processor, or AMD K7 Athlon 1 GHz or higher.
- Operating System:
- Microsoft® Windows XP with Service Pack 2 - 32bit / 64bit.
- Microsoft® Windows XP Professional Edition Service Pack 2 - 32bit / 64bit.
- Microsoft® Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 - 32bit / 64bit.
- Microsoft® Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 - 32bit / 64bit.
- Microsoft® Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 3 - 32bit / 64bit.
- Microsoft® Windows 2003 Server - 32bit / 64bit.
- Microsoft® Windows Vista - 32bit / 64bit.
- Microsoft® Windows 7 - 32bit / 64bit.
- System Memory (RAM): 512 MB (1GB or higher recommended).
- Available Hard Disk Space: 100 MB free space for application files and additional space available for projects data as well (it may vary depending on the size and number of projects).
- Video Card: 64 MB video adapter.
- Screen Resolution: 800 x 600 pixels.
To check your system properties, you can go to Control Panel > System Properties > General.
GeoAgro CPlanner
You will need to have an eAuthentication Account Level 2 Access (learn more…) with a user name and login issued by the USDA in order to access the NRCS National Conservation Planning database.
Minimum configuration:
- Operating System: Windows XP Service Pack 2 or newer
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later
- CPU: A modern processor (at least 750MHz).Recommended: CPU: 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
- System Memory (RAM) 256 Mb
- Hard Disk: 40 Mb
- Broadband Internet access.
- Screen: 800x600 resolution. Recommended: 1024x768 or higher resolution
CPlanner requires that you have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed, which requires 280 MB free disk space for install. The application will automatically activate the install in case you don’t have it. You must also be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later for all installations of the .NET Framework.
